John was just a child when he lost both parents in a tragic car accident — an accident he survived by some miracle. Since then, he’s lived with his aunt, who raised him with love despite barely having enough for herself.

Now, after years of fighting to rebuild his life, John is in his final year at University of Maiduguri studying Medicine and everything is falling apart again.

His aunt has just lost her job. There’s barely food at home. No money for rent, no light, and worst of all, no way to pay John’s school fees. He’s on the verge of dropping out… after surviving so much.
